Lightning Trapping System. ERICO has the latest technology

to work in conjunction with ERICO to offer our customers the
chance to greatly minimize damage from lightning strikes and
the related effects. The purpose of a lightning protection
system is to control the passage of a lightning discharge
in such a manner that prevents personal injury or property
damage. The lightning is captured at a preferred point. Energy
from the strike is then conducted safely to ground. The energy
is then dissipated into a low impedance ground system, which
will bond all grounding systems to a common plane. This will
protect against surges on incoming power lines. It also offers
projection against surges on signal, control, and data lines.
